Article 1. Definitions

 

The following definitions are used in these terms and conditions:

a.  Anandajay Teachings, Limited Partnership established in Hergersberg Belgium with company number:
     BE 1004.760.444

b.  Services: courses, retreats, pathways, meetings and individual sessions for physical and spiritual well-being.

c.  Participant: recipient of any of Anandajay Teachings' services.

d.  Agreement: notification and confirmation of participation in a service provided by Anandajay Teachings.

Article 2. Applicability

  • The terms and conditions apply to all agreements entered into between Anandajay Teachings and the participant.

Article 3. Establishment of the agreement

  • The agreement between the Anandajay Teachings and the participant is established through registration via our website, e-mail or telephone. The participant receives a confirmation of participation by e-mail.

  • Registration becomes final:

    • When the contribution is paid

    • When there are sufficient registrations (the minimum number of participants is determined by the Anandajay Teachings for each activity).

    • When there is space (still) in the relevant activity.

    • When an interview has shown that the intended pathway is appropriate.

  • With an annual program, the participant enrolls in all of its components.

  • By registering using the form on the website, the participant agrees to the terms and conditions. If registration is done via email or telephone, the cancellation conditions must be mentioned in the email confirmation.

  • Upon confirmation of registration for the multi-day retreats, the general terms and conditions will be attached. Even if the registration is made through the website.

Article 4. Force Majeure

 

  • If Anandajay Teachings cannot fulfill the obligations of the agreement due to force majeure (such as illness, accident and the like) the participant is entitled to a refund of the amount already paid for that part, or by mutual agreement the scheduled part will be rescheduled.

  • If the participant is unable to fulfill the obligations of the agreement due to force majeure (such as illness, accident and the like), the participant is entitled (provided a statement from a doctor is submitted) to a refund of the total amount already paid, but not yet participated in, or the part(s) in question will be rescheduled by mutual agreement.

Article 5. Payment

  • After receiving the confirmation email for the annual track, the participant must have paid the entire fee by January 10, unless a monthly payment is chosen, which is always due on the first of the month.

  • Cash payment may be agreed upon in specific cases.

  • For individual sessions, payment is made afterwards.

Article 6. Cancellation

  • Annual fee. If cancelled up to one week in advance, 50% of the fee will be charged. If cancelled less than one week in advance, 100% will be charged.

  • Meetings (live or online) are registered on a per time basis (such as Satsangs) and if cancelled on the day, 50% of the fee will be charged.

  • Individual sessions. Cancellations from 24 hours in advance will be charged 100%.

  • Anandajay Teachings may decide to change the above cancellation policy in incidental cases, in consultation with the person concerned.

  • In case of cancellation other than force majeure by Anandajay Teachings, the amount already paid will be refunded. (See also article 4)

Article 7. Price Change

  • Any price changes will not affect the agreed price of the activity for which the participant has already signed up. Unless there was a wrong price listed somewhere by mistake.

Article 8. Confidentiality

  • That the participant truthfully completes and provides the requested information to Anandajay Teachings.

  • Information provided by participants will be treated confidentially by Anandajay Teachings. Anandajay Teachings thereby conforms to the applicable privacy laws.

  • Anandajay Teachings considers the privacy of each participant very important. Therefore, it is only possible to make audio and/or film recordings before, during and after an activity in consultation with all other participants.

 

Article 9. Liability

 

  • The participant is responsible for participating in the activity and such participation is entirely at his/her own risk.

  • If the participant travels by their own transportation, it is entirely at their own risk.

  • The participant is expected to follow the guidelines of Anandajay Teachings.

  • Anandajay Teachings accepts no liability for damage to (personal) property of participants.

  • Anandajay Teachings is not liable for physical complaints incurred while participating in school activities.

Article 10. House rules

  • The rooms occupied by Anandajay Teachings are smoke-free, the use of alcoholic beverages and other drugs is also not permitted, and no street shoes are worn there.
