The Unfolding Freedom of Letting Go

Updated: May 1

The sun sheds rays from scattered clouds over a calm body of water with distant hills on the horizon.

Letting go

is one of the most important things

in life.

Letting go,

so that you don’t hold on,

don’t hang on,

don’t identify with anything

and above all that you continue to feel

that you are a living,

ever-changing being

that is meant to be free.

Freedom to be at peace

with what is

and remain in a vibrant aliveness.

Just as in yoga you wish for nothing to become fixed anywhere,

in tantra you wish for your relationships to remain open to each other,

in meditation you wish for your consciousness to become spacious

and for your insights to dissolve your boundaries and expand your horizons,

so everything in you longs for freedom.

Freedom is part of life,

as warmth is to the sun

and love is to your heart.

Freedom is

is being at peace with change,

is living with letting go

and living in a constant birth wave of all that is new.

Freedom is being free of expectations,

freedom from wanting to have and to hold,

is being free to feel the love that then awakens

and illuminates your soul as a lover.

All of this

can only be discovered and awakened from freedom

and therefore can't be directed by needs, wants or abilities,

but flows from giving, letting go, handing over.

Handing over so that it can emerge from the soul.
